Git for people who say "one sec, let me stash" forty times a day.

Groups & Tabs

Your repos, sorted the way you think about them, not the way your disk does.

Commit graph & filter

author:@me since:monday. Find the commit, not the scroll bar.

Line-level staging

Stage the three lines you meant, not the three hundred you didn't.

Conventional commits

A composer that keeps your messages in shape.

Interactive rebase

Reorder, squash and fixup without learning another text editor.

Conflicts

Merge conflicts, minus the archaeology.

Stashes, tags & remotes

Everything Git keeps on the side, one click away.

Pull requests

Review and open GitHub pull requests without leaving the window.

Git for people who still check git worktree list to remember where they are.

One tab per worktree.

Three branches in flight? Three tabs. No stashing, no cloning twice. Switching between them takes about 3 ms, even with 20 repositories and 50 worktrees open.

Powerful Git, no surprises.

Before anything that can lose work runs, Rebasar tells you exactly what's about to vanish. Force-push always uses --force-with-lease. And because Rebasar runs your owngit, your hooks, signing and credential helpers behave the way they do in your terminal.

  • Exact loss, stated up front
  • --force-with-lease, always
  • Your hooks, your signing, your config

Ctrl+P and the CLI

CtrlPruns everything.

Everything you can click, you can type. The palette jumps to Tabs and branches, runs any action, and searches commits.

rebasar . and you're in.

Open any Worktree from your terminal, in the window that's already running.

Every release lists a SHA256SUMS file to check your download against.

Before you install
git

Rebasar needs a system git 2.35.0 or newer, and shows a setup screen when it is missing or older. (Ubuntu 22.04 ships 2.34; install a newer one from the Git PPA.)

Windows

The Windows installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

Linux doesn't store credentials yet: to use GitHub pull requests there, sign in with the GitHub CLI (gh auth login).

Eleven checkouts later, still in one window.

Rebase. Then surpass.

Rebasar: a pun on rebase and quasar. In Spanish, it also means "to surpass".
